Is there a laptop express card who’s chipset is capable of network sniffing?

a lot of the older Orinoco pcmcia cards had the functionality of network monitoring drivers that allowed them to sniff any networks it might find. I’m in the market for a new laptop, is there yet a reliable express card with the same functionality?

If you can not find the card to do this there is a program called airsnare that will. Good luck
Atheros chipsets support monitor mode, if that is what you wanted to know.
With the right tools you can even exceed the HAL limited 12 or so FCC regulated channels and run completely invisible WIFI networks.
